Growing up in a classical music enviornment.....I had many, many influences....Everything from Bach to Shostakovich...... But then came a friend of mine that turned me onto Celtic Music. This opened my eyes to many different aspects ofFiddlin'....... I found out that the Violin wasn't just something used for Classical Music. It could become much, much more... Add a little improv and distortion to a tune.....And there you have it. And this leads to the "Doin' What I Do" style of fiddle playin'........ And as they say....... The Rest Is History......
